靖国神社８月９日

コロナ禍3年目の８月１５日、終戦から７７年目の暑い夏。
千鳥ヶ淵戦没者墓苑・靖国神社の参道はミストシャワーの設備を備えているが、午前中でも蒸し暑さで汗びっしょりである。それでもお参りに来る人は時間と共に増えていく。

千鳥ヶ淵戦没者墓苑では、例年になくPS・警察官が荷物検査をしていた。警察官に聞くと「政府要人の参拝があり、奈良での暗殺事件があったから・・・。」と言っていた。ここでの警備は初めての事である。

靖国神社では、地下鉄の九段下駅を出ると、様々な団体が参拝者を呼び止め、アピールしていた。
また、ひと昔前は、境内での戦死者を祀る集会や軍服姿の人たちが多く参拝していたが、コロナ禍でその姿は少ない。それでも８月は特別な月、終戦記念日の混雑を避けての政治結社の参拝。
毎年訪れている元日本兵とドイツ兵？の姿は今年も健在で外国人の質問に答えていた。そして、軍歌「海ゆかば♪」を歌う元日本兵、靖国神社はやはり戦争神社である。

When I asked a police officer, he said, "Because there was a visit by a government official, and there was an assassination in Nara." This is the first time for this security.
A long time ago, there were many people in military uniforms who worshiped the dead in the precincts and worshiped, but due to the corona crisis, there are few people.Still, August is a special month.
The Japanese and German soldiers who visit every year were still alive and well and answered questions from foreigners.

There is also a former Japanese soldier who sings the military song "Umi Yukaba♪", and Yasukuni Shrine is a shrine that enshrines the war dead.
