門司港浪漫旅＝門司港レトロ街

　福岡県北九州市門司区は、レトロな雰囲気のある町。JR門司港駅を始め旧大連航路上屋、旧大阪商船門司支店、旧門司三井倶楽部、旧門司税関など、明治～昭和初期に建てられた建物を修復している。

　門司港駅に隣接する九州鉄道記念館からは、門司港レトロ観光列車（土日祝にのみ運行）が関門海峡メカリ駅まで運行している。
　また、海峡プラザには、お土産、海産物、レストランがあり、外国人観光客も多い港町。そして、関門橋の下には１９５８年に開通した海底を歩いて渡る、関門トンネル人道（７８０ｍ・自転車可）があり、徒歩で本州の下関と直結している。ここを通ると門司側、下関側の両方に横断記念スタンプがあり、両方のスタンプを専用用紙に押して、観光案内所に提示すると「関門TOPPA!記念証」が貰える。

Mojiko Romantic Trip = Mojiko Retro Town

Moji Ward, Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture is a town with a retro atmosphere. Buildings built between the Meiji and early Showa eras, including JR Mojiko Station, the former Dalian Sea Route Shed, the former Osaka Shosen Moji Branch, the former Moji Mitsui Club, and the former Moji Customs House, have been restored.

From the Kyushu Railway Museum adjacent to Mojiko Station, the Mojiko Retro Sightseeing Train (runs only on weekends and holidays) runs to Kanmon Kaikyo Mekari Station.

The Kaikyo Plaza has souvenirs, marine products, and restaurants, making it a port town with many foreign tourists.

Under the Kanmon Bridge is the Kanmon Tunnel for pedestrians (780m, bicycles allowed), which was opened in 1958 and is directly connected to Shimonoseki on Honshu. If you pass through here, there are stamps commemorating the crossing on both the Moji side and the Shimonoseki side. If you stamp both stamps on a special form and present it at the tourist information center, you will receive a "Kanmon TOPPA! Commemorative certificate".

　現在、北九州や大連にまつわる展示や映画・芸能資料、「松永文庫」がある。

※大正１０年（１９２１）に三井物産の接客・宿泊施設として建設された。１９２２年にはアインシュタイン夫妻も宿泊した。

※１９１７年に竣工した木造、一部煉瓦型枠鉄筋コンクリート造り２階建ての大阪商船の社屋。門司港を大陸航路の拠点とした。

※１９０９年の門司税関発足を契機に１９１２年建設された税務庁舎。レンガ造り瓦葺き平屋構造で、昭和初期まで使われた。

※北九州市と中国大連市の友好都市締結15周年を記念して、大連にある歴史的建造物を複製建築したもの。

壇ノ浦古戦場とノスタルジックな唐戸エリア

　山口県下関市には関門海峡の一番狭まったところの「みもすそ川公園」には、壇ノ浦古戦場跡のオブジェがあり、ノスタルジックな想いを誘う街角の唐戸エリアでは、赤間神社、日本遺産の旧下関英国領事館、下関南部町郵便局、旧秋田商会ビルなどが点在する。
　また、プロ野球の大洋ホエールズ（現横浜ベイスターズ）の母体だった大洋漁業（株）本社ビル跡地の石碑が下関駅近くにある。

Dannoura Battlefield and the nostalgic Karato area

In Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, at the narrowest point of the Kanmon Strait, there is an object of the Dannoura battlefield in Mimosusogawa Park.

In the nostalgic Karato area, Akama Shrine, the former British Consulate of Shimonoseki, a Japanese heritage site, Shimonoseki Nanbumachi Post Office, and the former Akita Shokai Building are scattered about.

Also, near Shimonoseki Station, there is a stone monument on the site of the Taiyo Fishery Co., Ltd. head office building, which was the parent organization of the professional baseball team Taiyo Whales (now the Yokohama BayStars).

※壇ノ浦の戦いで敗れ、わずか８歳で入水された平清盛の孫、安徳天皇を祀っている。

※１９０６年に英国領事館として建設された煉瓦造りの建物。2階には喫茶レストランがありピーターラビットのオリジナルティーが飲める。

※１９１５年に建築された日本近代建築、1階は純洋風の事務室で、２・３階は書院造の住宅。

※下関南部町郵便局：明治３３年（１９００）の建築。国内最古の現役の郵便局舎で国登録有形文化財。

※下関駅西口近くには、日本国有鉄道下関工事局庁舎跡とプロ野球の大洋ホエールズ（現横浜ベイスターズ）の母体だった大洋漁業（株）本社ビル跡地の石碑がある。
