　アウシュビッツ平和博物館は、ユネスコ世界遺産「アウシュヴィッツ収容所跡」を保存するポーランドの国立博物館から提供された犠牲者の遺品・記録写真・関連資料を常設展示する日本で唯一の博物館で、市民ボランティアが非常利で運営し、戦争の惨禍を通して、いのちの尊厳と平和の価値を学び、伝えており、福島県白河市にある。建物は江戸時代中期の古民家を移築した展示室には独特の雰囲気がある。
　また、別棟に「アンネ・フランク」の関連写真、貨車を改造したギャラリーには第二次世界大戦直後に描いたポーランドの子ども達が描いた「子どもの目に映った戦争」というタイトルで、絵が展示してある。
