War ruins of Kacho Plain (Nangoku City, Kochi Prefecture)

In Nangoku City, where the former Kochi Naval Air Corps was located, there are seven bunkers (aircraft hangars), pillboxes, and many stone monuments scattered around.
The Nangoku City Board of Education provides detailed information in the pamphlets "The Bunkers Tell" and "War Ruins of Kacho Plain" published by the Lifelong Learning Division.
Thanks to the efforts of Yuri, who is in charge of cultural properties in the Lifelong Learning Division, we were introduced to war ruins that we could tour.

Monument to the mid-air collision of the "Shiragiku" training plane.
Inscription: "On October 14, 1944, when the Pacific War was at its fiercest, two training planes of the former Kochi Naval Air Corps collided during flight training and crashed, resulting in the tragic end of 12 young men. This monument was erected here in prayer for the peace and eternal peace of the 12 souls who lost their lives in the line of duty."

Pillbox on Zofukujijima
It's on the grounds of a private home and quite hard to find, but it happened to be on the grounds of a person I asked about the location.
The young mother didn't seem to know what it was, but after I explained it to her carefully she seemed to understand

Kochi Naval Air Corps Communication Station = Former bulletproof communication station
(inside Kochi University's Faculty of Agriculture)
A communication station remaining in the basement of Kochi University that served as a control tower for communicating with airplanes.
The radio waves emitted from here were connected by cable to the Jinyama transmitter station, 7km north of the airport, and the signals were transmitted to airplanes from the station's three antennas.
It still remains today as an underground bomb shelter, and a detailed investigation has been conducted. I asked the students where it was, but they didn't know.
Today, the location is indicated by a building that goes underground, and there is an explanatory sign.
