※姫路海軍航空隊 鶉野飛行場跡には、JR加古川線の粟生駅から北条鉄道に乗り換えて、法華口駅に行く。駅より３ｋｍの道のりを点在している戦跡を巡りながら、戦争の爪痕を目の当たりにして平和への思いを考えます。
戦跡 姫路海軍航空隊鶉野飛行場
姫路海軍航空隊鶉野飛行場は、第二次世界大戦が悪化しはじめた頃、優秀なパイロットを養成するため、昭和18年に完成した旧日本海軍の飛行場跡である。
飛行場の建設に伴い、昭和18年10月には姫路海軍航空隊が開設され、同時に航空整備、兵科、運用、主計、航海、機関、通信、工作、兵器、砲術、医務等の兵隊が在隊していた。
また、飛行場跡の南西には、川西航空機姫路製作所鶉野工場があり、｢紫電｣｢紫電改｣など500機余りの戦闘機が組み立てられた。
当時、航空隊には、10代を中心に若者が全国から約500名集められ、ここで30時間の飛行訓練を受けた後、各航空隊へと散っていき、昭和20年には、練習生による神風特攻隊｢白鷺隊｣が編成され、終戦までに63名の尊い命が失われた。現在も、飛行場跡の周辺には防空壕の跡など生々しい戦争の爪痕が見られる。（かさい観光ナビより）

Naval Air Corps Uzurano Airfield is a former Imperial Japanese Navy airfield
that was completed in 1943 to train excellent pilots when World War II began to
deteriorate.
Along
with the construction of the airfield, the Himeji Naval Air Corps was
established in October 1943, and at the same time, soldiers such as aviation
maintenance, military departments, operations, accounting, navigation,
machinery, communications, construction, weapons, gunnery, and medical affairs
were enlisted. Was.
In
addition, Kawanishi Aircraft Himeji Factory Uzurano Factory is located
southwest of the former airfield, where more than 500 fighter planes such as
"Shiden" and "Shiden Kai" were assembled.
At
that time, about 500 young people, mainly in their teens, gathered from all
over the country for the air corps, and after receiving 30 hours of flight
training here, they were assigned to each air corps.
In
1945, trainees formed the Kamikaze Suicide Squad "Shirasagi-tai", and
63 precious lives were lost before the end of the war. Even today, vivid traces
of the war can be seen around the airfield, such as the remains of air-raid
shelters.

＝かつて法華口駅は悲しい別れの駅だった＝
「法華口駅」は大正４年３月3日（1915年）に開通した播州鉄道加古川線北条支線の「笠原駅」として発足、今年で10８年を迎えた。1985年（昭和60年）4月1日に第三セクターとして現在の北条鉄道が発足した。
駅は過去を知る語り部。大正3年（1914）の第一次大戦、昭和6年（1931年）の満州事変、昭和12年（1937年）の日華事変、昭和16年（1941年）の大東亜戦争（太平洋戦争）で出征する兵庫県加西郡の若者たちは歓喜の声に送られ、この法華口駅をあと戦地に向かい、その戦いにおいて多くの若者たちは戦死し、白木の箱に入って帰ってきた。
鶉野にできた姫路海軍航空隊で編成された特別攻撃隊「白鷺隊」の若者たちは、家族との別れの場所が「法華口駅」の待合室だった。
「法華口駅」は飛行場への窓口でもあり、悲しい歴史を見てきたのである。
現在はレトロな駅舎の無人駅だが、パン屋「モン ファボリ（仏語：私のお気に入り）」があり、駅の待合室は、喫茶レストランになっており、おいしいパンと飲み物がいただける。

young men who went to war and died in battle returned to Hokkeguchi Station in
plain wooden boxes.
The
young people of the special attack unit "White Heron Corps" formed by
the Himeji Naval Air Corps in Uzurano used to say goodbye to their families in
the waiting room of "Hokkeguchi Station".

it is an unmanned station with a retro station building, but there is a bakery
"Mon Favori" (French: my favorite), and the waiting room of the

巨大防空壕跡（自力発電所）
長さ14.5ｍ、幅５ｍ、高さ５ｍの空間を持ち、基地内最大の防空壕。自力発電所として使用していた。今は、平和教育の一環として当時の特攻隊員たちが残した遺書を映像で紹介している。

対空機銃座跡
攻撃してくる敵機を迎え撃つための機銃座で１分間に２３０発の弾を5000mまで発射できたそうである。現在、映画「男たちの大和」で使用された、２５ｍｍ、三連装機銃が銃座に備えてあるが、当時は二連装の機銃であった。

鶉野平和祈念の碑苑
戦争の無い平和な社会が続くことを願い、平成11年に元隊員やご遺族、地元有志により建立された。碑には元特攻隊員の思いや戦死者、殉職者名などが刻まれている。
Uzurano Peace Prayer Monument

was built in 1999 by ex-members, bereaved families, and local volunteers in the
hope that a peaceful society without war will continue. On the monument, the
thoughts of the former kamikaze pilots, the names of those who died in the war,
and the names of those who died in the line of duty are engraved.
