旧陸軍第11師団 騎兵第11連隊兵舎 （香川県善通寺市）2024年5月13日
四国学院大学の大学構内に騎兵隊の旧兵舎が残されている。かつて市内のあちこちにあった木造兵舎のひとつで、大学の校舎に生まれ変わったものである。
2号館と呼ばれているこの建物は、長さ58.5m、幅約15mのボリュームのある木造2階建てで、玄関ポーチの屋根は4本のりっぱな石柱で支えられている。何度もペンキを塗り重ねた壁面には縦長の窓が続き整然とした印象。あいにく雨だったが、大学の守衛室で見学の許可を得て構内に入った。

The old barracks of the cavalry are left in the
university premises of Shikoku Gakuin University. It was one of the wooden
barracks that were once everywhere in the city, and was reborn as a university
school building.
This building, which is called Building 2, is a
wooden 2 -story building with a volume of 58.5m and a width of about 15m, and
the roof of the entrance porch is supported by four pillars. The vertical
window continues on the wall with paint paint many times, giving the impression
that it is organized. Unfortunately, it was raining, but I got on the premises
with permission to visit at the university guard room.
