「石巻南浜津波復興祈念公園」
復興祈念公園は、宮城県、さらには被災地全体のかなめとなる復興祈念公園として、この地のみならず東日本大震災で犠牲になられたすべての生命（いのち）に対する追悼と鎮魂の場となるとともに、東日本大震災の記憶と教訓を後世に伝える拠点。
"Ishinomaki Minamihama Tsunami Reconstruction Memorial Park"
The Recovery Memorial Park is a recovery memorial park that serves as the cornerstone of Miyagi Prefecture and the entire disaster area.
It will be a place of mourning and requiem for all the lives that were
sacrificed not only in this area but also in the Great East Japan Earthquake.
It is also a base for passing on the memories and lessons learned from
the Great East Japan Earthquake to future generations.
「がんばろう！石巻」の看板は、瓦礫の中に作られた。2013年5月当時、瓦礫が撤去され、荒涼とした大地の石巻の象徴的な看板だった。
「みやぎ東日本大震災津波伝承館」
2011年3月11日午後2時46分に発生した、東日本大震災で甚大な被害に見舞われた石巻市。
この悲しみと混乱を繰り返さないために、東日本大震災の記憶と人々と地域が力を合わせて歩み続け後世に伝えてゆくこと、震災の記憶を確かめ合い未来への誓いを新たにするための場として整備された。次なる災害への備えを確かなものにできるよう、全国、世界、そして次世代の人々と繋がり、発信と交流が出来る施設。
"Miyagi Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Museum"
Ishinomaki City was devastated by the Great East Japan Earthquake
that occurred at 2:46 pm on March 11, 2011.
In order not to repeat this sadness and confusion, it is a place for people and communities to work together to pass on the memories of the Great East Japan Earthquake to future generations, confirm the memories of the disaster, and make a vow for the future.
A facility where people from all over the world, the world, and the next
generation can connect, transmit and exchange information so that they
can be prepared for the next disaster.

「旧門脇保育所」"Former Kadowaki Nursery School.
津波で跡形もなく破壊された門脇保育所跡。公園の一角に柵で囲われてあった。
"Former Kadowaki Nursery School"
The ruins of Kadowaki Nursery School, which was completely destroyed by the tsunami, was surrounded by a fence in a corner of the park.
I don't know what kind of nursery school it was. I found "Miimii's blog" on the internet and found out what happened after the tsunami.

＜石巻市震災遺構＞<Ishinomaki City Earthquake Remains>
「震災遺構門脇小学校」"Earthquake Remnants Kadowaki Elementary School"
2011年3月11日、東北地方太平洋沖地震が発生。門脇小学校にいた児童・教職員らは訓練通りに裏手の日和山へと避難して、地震から約1時間後の大津波が襲来した。津波火災が発生し、校舎は炎に包まれた。南浜・門脇地区では500人を超える方が犠牲となった。
On March 11, 2011, the Tohoku-Pacific Ocean Earthquake occurred. The children and teachers at Kadowaki Elementary School evacuated to Hiyoriyama behind the school as they had been trained. A tsunami fire broke out and the school building was engulfed in flames. More than 500 people died in the Minamihama and Kadowaki districts.
Kadowaki Elementary School is the only remains of an earthquake disaster that leave traces of the tsunami fire.

「震災遺構大川小学校」"Earthquake Remains Okawa Elementary School"
２０１１年３月１１日、大川小学校には、北上川からと陸から津波が襲ってきた。高さは8.6mもの津波が学校を飲み込み児童74人、教職員10人が犠牲になった。また、大川地区全体では、418人が津波の犠牲になった。
On March 11, 2011, a tsunami hit Okawa Elementary School from the Kitakami River and from the land. A tsunami with a height of 8.6m engulfed the school, killing 74 children and 10 teachers. In addition, 418 people were killed in the tsunami in the Okawa district as a whole.
