福島県浪江町
東京電力福島第一原子力発電所事故から、11年7か月。未だに多くの地域が帰還困難区域に指定されている浪江町。昨年、政府は「帰還指示解除が見通せなかった区域について、帰還を希望する人の自宅周辺に限り除染する」新方針を示した。これは、今までの「全域除染」からの後退で、「帰ると決めないと除染しない」という姿勢である。
Namie Town, Fukushima Prefecture
It has been 11 years and 7 months since the accident at the Tokyo Electric Power Company's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. Many areas of Namie are still designated as difficult-to-return zones.
Last year, the government announced a new policy to "decontaminate only the areas around the homes of those who wish to return" for areas where the return order was not lifted.
This is a retreat from the conventional "whole area decontamination", and is an attitude of "do not decontaminate unless you decide to return".
「震災遺構浪江町立請戸小学校」
浪江町では、津波、放射の被害にあった住宅がそのままの状態で、11年以上もたって朽ち果てている住民もあり、何ともいたたまれない。
また、海岸から３００メートルの請戸小学校（うけど小学校）が、ちょうど1年前の2021年１０月２４日に、「震災遺構浪江町立請戸小学校」として、当時の被害の様子やその後の避難状況が展示され一般公開された。

高さ１５mの津波に襲われ校舎２階の床付近まで浸水し、構内にいた児童９３人（1年生11人は帰宅していた）は、教職員の迅速な判断と児童の協力により、奇跡的に全員が避難する事ができた。福島第一原子力発電所から北5kmに位置し6年に渡り避難指示を受け、再開されないまま昨年4月に廃校になった。
Ukedo Elementary School was hit by a tsunami with a height of 15m and flooded to the floor of the second floor of the school building.
All of the 93 children (11 first-year students had already returned home) who were on the campus were miraculously able to evacuate thanks to the quick judgment of the teachers and the cooperation of the children.
Located 5km north of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, the school was ordered to evacuate for six years and was closed in April last year without reopening.
