プーチンの軍隊によるウクライナ侵攻・侵略は、プーチンの妄想による「巨大なロシア帝国を築く英雄として歴史に残す」ことである。これは1930年代のナチスドイツのヒトラーの妄想「1000年帝国」を思い出される。侵略者は必ず滅びる事は歴史が証明している。プーチンは英雄にはならず、独裁者・侵略者・戦争犯罪人として、歴史に残るだろう。
いずれプーチンは敗退する。しかし、それまでにウクライナは破壊つくされ、多くの人が犠牲になる。父や兄弟、夫が国を守る為にウクライナに残り、家族は引き裂かれる。
冷戦時代の1970年に上映された映画「ひまわり」を思い出す。映画に出てくる「ひまわり」は、ウクライナの首都キエフから南へ500キロメートルほど行ったヘルソン州で撮影されたものである。ひまわり畑のひまわりは、戦争で苦しんだ無数の人々を象徴しているようだ。  そして、この映画は、戦争は人が死ぬだけではなく、生き延びても、悲劇は続くのだということを語っている。ヘルソンは今、激戦地である。ヘンリー・マンシーニの物悲しいメロディは、聴くだけで涙が出てくる。

Putin's army invasion of Ukraine is Putin's delusion "to make history as a hero to build a huge Russian empire." This is reminiscent of Hitler's delusion "1000 Empire" in the 1930s.
History proves that invaders will surely perish. Putin will not be a hero, but will go down in history as a dictator, invader, and war criminal.
Putin will eventually be eliminated. But by then Ukraine will be destroyed and many will be sacrificed. His father, brother and husband remain in Ukraine to protect the country, and the family is torn apart.
I remember the movie "Sunflower" that was screened in 1970 during the Cold War. The "sunflower" in the movie was shot in Kherson Oblast, about 500 kilometers south of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. The sunflowers in the sunflower field seem to symbolize the myriad of people who suffered from the war.
And the movie tells us that war not only kills people, but that tragedy continues even if they survive. Kherson is a fierce battleground now. Henry Mancini's sad melody makes tears come out just by listening.
